If you want to study in the UK and English is not your first language, you must demonstrate your English proficiency by passing an approved English language exam. Universities state their English language requirements through various tests: IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic or Cambridge English Advanced (also known as the Certificate in Advanced English/CAE or Cambridge ESOL). Password English Language Test
The Password English Language Test is accepted by several UK universities and is generally available only to students who have received a conditional offer from the university concerned.
